  • What are some recipies that utilize "high-protien" and low fat/calories?

    My roomates (2) and I have started resistance training at the gym. Were going grocery shopping this weekend, what kind of foods should we buy to make some good tasting/healthy meals? What are some recipies?

      (Try to eat a lot of fish, chicken breasts with no skin(boiled or grilled using olive oil) and very lean cut red meats like top sirloin. Stay away from most things that are white like rice and bread. Stick to whole grain bread and brown rice…this white stuff spikes insulin and makes it hard to keep your body in sync. Protein shakes are good for on the go esp mid-morning with some carbs and right before bed with no carbs…this is muscle juice! Ideal would be 6-7 meals a day every 3 hours and make sure to start with egg whites in the morning with some lean turkey sausage…Even for those late nights scrambled egg whites with veggies is great! We use those cartons of all egg whites because they are quick and easy….Good luck and keep up the good work!
